The Court Programs Unit, which includes the former Family Law Unit, of the Court Services Division is a multifaceted unit that
provides leadership, support, technical assistance, and educational
opportunities in: domestic relations, domestic violence, child support
enforcement, alternative dispute resolution, parent education and public access.
Activities include: the development of domestic relations and child support
enforcement programs and policies which advance the best interests of children
and families (Laws 1994: Chapter 374, Section 24); coordinating and supporting
the activities of the Child Support Committee, the
Domestic Relations Committee, and the Committee on the Impact of
Domestic Violence and the Courts.
To provide assistance to the public and court staff, the Administrative
Office of the Courts created the Self
Service Center web site, the child support calculator, Elder Law Hotline,
and court approved forms. These projects are designed to provide information and
services that will "help you help yourself" through Arizona's Court
system.
