State Board

The State Foster Care Review Board is comprised of representative board members from each county and community representatives. The State Foster Care Review Board was established in April 1979, and according to A.R.S. 8-515.04.C and E., has the responsibility to:

  •  Review and coordinate the activities of the local boards

  •  Establish training programs for local board members

  •  Make recommendations to the Arizona Supreme Court, Governor and Legislature regarding foster care statutes, policies, and procedures on or before January 15th each year

  •  Meet no less than twice annually
