Volunteer Opportunities
The Court Appointed Special Advocate
(CASA) has been established to help protect abandoned, abused and neglected children.
CASAs are trained volunteers who donate their time to help the court system determine what is best for children who have come under the court's care.
Committees, Commissions & Councils are
composed of appointed members of the public who are responsible for making recommendations on issues affecting the court system statewide. This web page will list all of the commissions and committees currently advising the Court.
Foster Care Review Boards advise the juvenile court on progress toward achieving a permanent home for a child or children involved in a dependency action and in an out-of-home placement. The
well being of these children is the highest concern to board members.
Court Case Mediation The
Superior Court of Maricopa County provides the program requirements and
guidelines for Volunteer Mediators for Alternative Dispute Resolution in the
Justice Courts.
